Our Events

The Brent Centre for Young People hosts a large variety of events, ranging from adolescent mental health training seminars to essential fundraising events. Events enable the Centre to share our expertise with the world, and connect with stakeholders and local communities.

Training Seminars and Conferences

Drawing from our unique experience supporting young people, the Brent Centre for Young People's psychotherapy and psychoanalytic professionals offer invaluable insights to professionals across diverse disciplines, particularly those focused on adolescent mental health. Through knowledge-sharing and networking, we aim to enhance the delivery of services for young individuals.

The Brent Centre for Young People is also known to host (and co-host) conferences. For these events, the Centre carefully selects speakers and panelists to address specialised areas relating to adolescent mental health. In a recent collaboration with Westminster School, we organised a successful conference titled "Therapeutic Work in Schools: The Challenges, Opportunities, and Approaches Supporting Young People and Staff." The positive response has prompted us to plan a similar conference for 2024, building on this success to further advance our mission.

Fundraising Events

Fundraising is vital to the Brent Centre, sustaining our essential services. Through engaging events, we effectively communicate our impactful work to supporters, fostering funding that empowers the expansion of crucial services for young people.
