New Hires

 

Clinical Administrator

We are looking for an experienced clinical administrator with strong people and
communication skills to help run our clinical services. This post is an exciting opportunity to be part both of supporting the growth of this new service and supporting clinical administration at the Brent Centre within an existing small team. The suitable candidate will have at least two years’ experience of clinical and/or general administration and reception duties. This post will suit a confident, reliable individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to be confident in IT skills and apply them to recording data accurately on a daily basis.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates a high level of professionalism, can work to regular deadlines, can problem solve when faced with difficult situations, adheres to confidentiality and can communicate professionally with young patients, families, our clinical and non-clinical staff team and our external contacts, such as GPs.

Head of Fundraising 

Our new Head of Fundraising will possess the professional and personal
credibility and strategic thinking to significantly help us to grow our charity’s
funding, building on the growing awareness of the mental health struggles faced
by many young people

We are looking for an outstanding candidate, who is brilliantly organised and
committed to helping us to fundraise across different income streams and
develop our fundraising team.

The successful candidate will have a track record in major donor fundraising, as
this will be a particular focus area, and a solid understanding of trusts and
foundations given our current strength in this area.

You will lead our growing Fundraising Team and will have a real passion for
improving the lives and mental health of the young people whom we support. You
will be a member of the Senior Management Team, attend Board meetings and
a key contributor to the development and implementation of our organisational
strategy.

Voluntary Placements

 

The Brent Centre, as  a charity, is very committed to supporting volunteers in a range of posts within our services and we welcome enquiries and applications to volunteer placements. We experience a high level of interest in our voluntary placements, and for this reason, we have two points in the year when we accept applications or expressions of interest.

Our next date for reviewing application to placement or volunteer posts is 30th November 2017. 

Our Centre also supports placements for clinicians in advanced training, from the Tavistock Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy courses, Birkbeck University and the Institute of Psychoanalysis.
