The Brent Centre for Young People is committed to supporting adolescents who are experiencing emotional and mental distress. We are constantly striving to improve and develop our services in order to help as many young people as possible. We work with young people with patience, commitment and understanding.
Do you share our vision of helping young people to build healthier, happier lives?
The Brent Centre, as a charity, is very committed to supporting volunteers in a range of posts within our services and we welcome enquiries and applications to volunteer placements. We experience a high level of interest in our voluntary placements, and for this reason, we have two points in the year when we accept applications or expressions of interest.
Our next date for reviewing application to placement or volunteer posts is 30th November 2017.
Our Centre also supports placements for clinicians in advanced training, from the Tavistock Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy courses, Birkbeck University and the Institute of Psychoanalysis.
You are welcome to contact the Centre at any time, if you would like to informally discuss volunteering opportunities with us before submitting your CV.
To apply for the upcoming intake, please send your CV and a covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org , with the subject 'Placement Intake Application'.
We will keep your application on file until the next intake. Once we have reviewed all applicants, we will be in touch to let you know whether you have been successful.
