2024 London Marathon – A Fundraising Milestone

Date published: 25.04.2024

The Brent Centre for Young People is proud to be a part of this year’s momentous London Marathon, which broke the world record for the biggest one-day fundraising event.

Our marathon team was made up of runners from London and the Scottish Highlands, raising awareness and running for youth mental health, whilst supporting the Brent Centre and Highlands Centre. Our runners; Tracy, Vicky, Kirsteen, Sarah, and Kathy did an amazing job fundraising for the organization – raising more than £8,500. We are delighted to be a part of a momentous fundraising event, with the 2024 London Marathon fundraisers raising over £67 million – a new one-day world record.

Brent Centre staff were out in force to cheer on the runners and congratulate them on their mammoth efforts. We thank our marathon team for their tremendous fundraising and for representing the organisation at this year's London Marathon.
