Blenheim Palace triathletes raise over £1,600 for the Centre

A team of five committed triathletes completed the course at Blenheim Palace last month, raising over £1,600 for the Brent Centre.
On behalf of all staff, we are hugely grateful to Talia Anstey, Rob Bodley, Savanna Mendelsohn, Cathy Wyeth, and Joe Harriman for training, taking part and fundraising! And a big thank you to Winkworth Estate Agents for sponsoring the participants again.
Each year the Blenheim Palace Triathlon sees over 7,000 participants swim, bike and run to complete the route. The Centre’s team was part of Kensal Tri, a neighbourly initiative that comes together to support local charities through this triathlon and other events year-round. This year, 159 adults and 35 children from Kensal Tri, which welcomes people of all ages and abilities, took part in the Blenheim Triathlon.
Dr. Maxim de Sauma, Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Director at Brent Centre, said: “I’d personally like to thank this team of triathletes and their supporters for all your training and fundraising efforts. We are extremely grateful and will channel the money raised into further expanding access to talking therapies in north-west London. The funds will help to meet the challenges of rising referrals from young people in need of a safe space to build a brighter future.”
