We provide specialist, neurodiversity-affirming therapy for young people who are autistic, have ADHD, or identify as neurodivergent. Our approach is tailored to help them feel understood, safe, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Our service is for young people who may be:
- Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood, or suicidal thoughts.
- Experiencing difficulties with school attendance, peer relationships, or exclusion.
- Struggling with self-esteem, identity, or the pressures of masking.
- Feeling misunderstood by services.
What happens in therapy
- We offer one-to-one therapeutic support using our Adolescent Exploratory Therapy (AET) model. This flexible approach is designed to meet the needs of neurodivergent young people.
Sessions focus on emotional regulation, self-understanding, and identity formation, as well as managing risk and crisis. - Alongside therapy, we provide wraparound support by liaising with schools, CAMHS, and social services to ensure joined-up care.
- We also run psychoeducational groups that help young people reduce shame, connect with peers, and build confidence in their identity.
- Where appropriate, families are supported to better understand and respond to their child’s needs.
Many neurodivergent young people report:
- Reduced anxiety and depression.
- Greater self-confidence and acceptance of their identity.
- Improved relationships with peers and family.
- Feeling less isolated and more hopeful about their future.
