Support us

The Brent Centre for Young People can only deliver its key support thanks to the generous support of individual donors, trusts and foundations, corporate sponsors and friends. For over 50 years, we have been grateful to receive philanthropic backing from those who value the work we do in helping young people through the challenging transition into adulthood.

Right now, we need your support more than ever. Please help us to ensure we can support young people through:

  • Bespoke, focused individual therapy based on over 50 years’ of research
  • Group therapy, for those who struggle to engage in one-to-one therapy and benefit from a space to be with others and share experiences, thoughts and feelings
  • Sport & Thought, our unique programme of group therapy which uses football to engage young people who find individual therapy less relatable
  • Parent and family work with parents and carers

Thank you for your support of The Brent Centre for Young People. Through the generosity of supporters like you, we can meet the challenges of nurturing and supporting young people in greatest need today, creating healthy, balanced and happy adults for tomorrow.

For a conversation about how you might be able to help, please email supportus@brentcentre.org.uk

"John Lyon’s Charity recognises how important it is to have this excellent resource in Brent. The grants awarded to the Brent Centre have been utilised wisely and to great effect, providing young people with the vital support that they need, often in times of crises. The service is never more needed as young people face increasing challenges in their everyday lives. The quality of Brent Centre’s offer is why John Lyon’s Charity has supported it for nearly 30 years."

Help young people become healthier, happier adults

Just 0.7% of the NHS budget is allocated to children and young people’s mental health. Services are unable to cope with demand, and thousands of young people are struggling.

With your donation we can continue to provide help to young people when they need it most.

Once you decide on the activity, please let us know your plans so we can share our top tips and guidance.
